Come Work With Us

Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services is a small nonprofit mental health clinic that specializes in treating survivors of complex trauma, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation. We have a close-knit, supportive team that fosters professional growth and camaraderie in our clinicians. This is a part-time, telehealth hybrid position on a flexible schedule. Employees will have the option of going full-time with benefits (employee paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Long/Short-term disability) as their caseload supports full-time status.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assessments, treatment planning and documentation completed promptly in accordance with best practices and guidelines set forth by governing bodies.

  • Provide trauma-informed individual and group therapy using evidence-based models.

  • Attend weekly individual supervision and staff meetings.

  • Engage in regular training to remain current on clinical practices and for licensing requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications: LPC, LCSW, LSW, or licensed psychologist with training in EMDR or other evidence-based trauma treatments. Experience providing treatment to all age groups.

​Minimum Qualifications: Completed all coursework toward master's degree in a mental health field that leads to licensure. Completion of degree is not necessary if coursework is complete. Must have some clinical experience, given the population we serve.

​

The position pays $20-$35 per hour for direct time (depending on degree, licensure and experience) and $15 for indirect time (supervision, training, and no-shows). Should a full-time position be offered, the salary range would be $35K-$50K.
